PrioNet researchers discuss their work on CWD
These researchers are involved with In Land and Life, a study that examines wildlife health and Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD). This project studies the health of wildlife in central Alberta and the social and economic consequences of poor wildlife health for Aboriginal communities and other people that rely on wildlife such as hunters, the tourism industry, and farmers. It was developed by PrioNet researcher Stephane McLachlan. View videos

Video footage from the Virtual Science Café Workshop (March 18, 2010)  The Science Café, held on March 18th, 2010, discussed the implications of live testing. It drew one hundred attendees from the Universities of Alberta, Calgary, Lethbridge and Ottawa. View Video
